Classification
Society of North America (CSNA)
The CSNA is a nonprofit interdisciplinary organization whose
purposes are to promote the scientific study of classification and
clustering (including systematic methods of creating classifications from
data), and to disseminate scientific and educational information related
to its fields of interests. The CSNA is a member of the
International Federation

Association for Statistical Computing, a
Section of the International Statistical
Institute
The International Association for Statistical Computing (IASC) was
founded during the 41st Session of the ISI in 1977, as a Section of the
ISI. The objectives of the Association are to
foster world-wide interest in effective statistical computing and to
exchange technical knowledge through international contacts and meetings
between statisticians, computing professionals, organizations,
institutions, governments and the general public.
The Association is affiliated with the International Federation of
Information Processing Societies (IFIP).
The Association pursues its objectives with special attention to
developing countries. It promotes collaborative efforts within
international, national, regional and other organizations and institutions
having similar aims; it fosters evaluations of statistical computing
techniques and programs and facilitates the exchange of computer
programs and meetings, particularly in conjunction with sessions of the
ISI.

Institute
The International Statistical Institute (ISI) is one of
the oldest international scientific associations functioning in the modern
world. It was established in 1885 and therefore celebrated its Centenary
in 1985. The Institute is an autonomous society which seeks to develop and
improve statistical methods and their application through the promotion of
international activity and co-operation.

The Bernoulli
Society for Mathematical Statistics and Probability
The Bernoulli Society was founded in 1975. It is an autonomous section of
the International Statistical Institute,
ISI. According to its
statutes, the object of the Bernoulli Society is the advancement,
through international contacts, of the sciences of probability (including
the theory of stochastic processes) and mathematical statistics and of
their applications to all those aspects of human endeavour which are
directed towards the increase of natural knowledge and the welfare of
mankind

based in the United Kingdom and overseas. The RSS

International Association for
Statistical Education
The International Association for Statistical Education, IASE, is a
section of the International Statistical Institute, ISI, which seeks to
advance statistical education at all levels, from primary school through
training of professionals. The Association places a strong emphasis on
international cooperation and the exchange of information through its
program of publications and meetings and provides people with the
opportunity of being part of an international community who are interested
in statistical education.
