International Statistical Institute
The International Statistical Institute (ISI) is one of the oldest
international scientific associations functioning in the modern world. It
was established in 1885 and therefore celebrated its Centenary in 1985.
The Institute is an autonomous society which seeks to develop and improve
statistical methods and their application through the promotion of
international activity and co-operation.
